The Jewish-Christian-Israel Triangle
Most Jews and Christians are unaware that an extraordinary sea-change is taking place in Jewish-Christian relations. Author Moshe Aumann, former Consul-General and Minister-Counselor for Church Relations at the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, poses a crucial question in this exciting book: does this sea-change point to a fundamental and historic resolution of the centuries-old conflict between Christianity and Judaism?

“His aptly titled book, Conflict & Connection: The Jewish-Christian-Israel Triangle, tackles all the hard questions. Aumann is optimistic that the creation of Israel ushered in a “revolution” in Christian-Jewish relations. He believes Israel is “transforming a 2,000-year legacy of bottomless animosity into a totally fresh era of mutual respect, harmony, and fraternal cooperation. …Israel's 5½ decades as an independent nation state have clearly revealed the inextricable link of Judaism and Jews with that land. Aumann makes the critical point, beginning with his book's title, that whenever Jews and Christians meet, Israel must be included in that encounter.” A. James Rudin, 2004 Religion News Service
“…a scholarly study of the history of Jewish-Christian relations…This book will provide an enormous boost to Jewish-Christian consciousness-raising and inter-faith.” Judy Carr, The Jewish Post and Opinion
Dear Mr. Brunell,
I was one of the Na'amat ladies in the audience at your speech yesterday. I was so impressed with your story I bought your book. I must tell you I returned home and read your book from 'cover to cover' - in one gulp you might say. I just couldn't put it down. Your story is truly most impressive. I admire your courage, your wife's courage and even more your daughter's persistence in achieving their goals to convert to Judaism. We who were born Jews take so much for granted in our religion. You made me see my religion in an entirely different light.
Thank you for sharing your unique experience to our group and to me personally.
I wish you many years of success and happiness in Israel. May all your beautiful daughters find good husbands and bring you many 'sabras' to love.
