About the Author
RABBI BENJAMIN J. SEGAL, former president of the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, has authored commentaries on the Song of Songs, Ruth, Ecclesiastes, and Psalms, and other books and articles. A former pulpit rabbi, he has had a distinguished career leading educational and rabbinic institutions since moving to Israel in 1973.
