Da'ath Sofrim: Jeremiah presents Rabbi Chaim Dov Rabinowitz’s traditional Jewish commentary on the Book of Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu). Part of his monumental Da'ath Sofrim commentary on Tanach, the work is based on the teachings and interpretations of the Rishonim and offers readers a detailed guide to understanding the biblical text.
The Book of Jeremiah follows the prophet’s warnings to the people of Judah during the turbulent years leading to the destruction of the First Temple and the Babylonian exile. Through Jeremiah’s prophecies of rebuke, destruction, repentance, and eventual restoration, readers encounter one of the most consequential periods in biblical history.
With its traditional approach and detailed commentary, Da'ath Sofrim: Jeremiah is a valuable resource for individual study, classroom learning, and readers seeking a deeper understanding of Yirmeyahu and the Prophets.
