Da'ath Sofrim: Kings I–II presents Rabbi Chaim Dov Rabinowitz’s traditional Jewish commentary on the Books of Kings (Melakhim I–II). Part of his monumental Da'ath Sofrim commentary on Tanach, this volume guides readers through the biblical text while drawing upon the teachings and interpretations of the Rishonim.
The Books of Kings trace the history of the Israelite monarchy, from the reign of King Solomon and the building of the First Temple through the division of the kingdom, the lives of subsequent kings and prophets, and ultimately the destruction of the Temple and exile.
With its detailed explanations and traditional approach, Da'ath Sofrim: Kings I–II is a valuable resource for individual study, classroom learning, and readers seeking a deeper understanding of Melakhim and the historical books of Tanach.
